“I need your signature on the contract. Can you come to the office?” — this sentence sounded absurd in April 2020. The pandemic forced us to solve electronic signatures.
Legal Framework — eIDAS¶
In the Czech Republic, we distinguish three levels of e-signatures according to eIDAS: simple, advanced and qualified. For most business contracts, simple is sufficient — the key is to prove the parties’ intent and document integrity.
Signi + DocuSign¶
We chose Signi for Czech clients (biometric signature, SMS verification, data box) and DocuSign for international contracts. We digitalized the entire document lifecycle — templates in Google Docs, approval workflow in Power Automate, signing through Signi, archiving in SharePoint.
