Setup

  1. Account at cloudflare.com -> 2. Add domain -> 3. Change NS at registrar -> 4. SSL Full (Strict)

DNS

Orange cloud = proxy through Cloudflare. Gray = DNS only.

A example.com 93.184.216.34 Proxied CNAME www example.com Proxied MX example.com mail.example.com DNS only

SSL

  • Full (Strict) — RECOMMENDED, valid cert on origin
  • Full — self-signed OK
  • Flexible — DO NOT USE
