Karpenter místo Cluster Autoscaler¶
Karpenter vybírá optimální instance type pro pending pody — nejen škáluje počet, ale i typ nodu. Mix ARM/x86, spot/on-demand. Bin packing: méně nodů s vyšší utilizací.
Namespace quotas a limit ranges¶
Každý namespace má resource quota. Tým nemůže náhodou spustit 100 replik. LimitRange nastaví default requests/limits pro pody bez explicitních hodnot.
Idle resource detection¶
Kubecost pro per-namespace cost breakdown. Týdenní report: „namespace X stojí $Y a má Z % utilizaci”. Automatické alerting na idle workloady starší než 7 dní.
Kubernetes cost ≠ mystery¶
Right-sizing + Karpenter + visibility = 40 % úspora. FinOps pro Kubernetes je nutnost, ne nice-to-have.
